Lalit,

Maybe someone on this thread has an education in world history
and can identify the path gold took in different nations.

I myself was never exposed to gold in an shape way or form
as long as I can remember. So me being 100% Polish I will
guess that folks in that country do not regard it except as
a piece of expensive jewerly. Families on both sides of my
parents were all farmers and wearing rings and such were
not, or I guess to say, did not fit in with the farm chores.

Maybe city Polish folks do gold.

Gypsies wear lots of shiney stuff like gold.
What nation is this ?
