I'm not much of a TA analyst either, but it does look that way on the charts. Lower Highs on each rally if I recall correctly on the Dow Chart. Seems to be a classic, a Bear Market punctuated by crazy rallies yet each falls short of the last crazy rally.

May not even be a good time to initiate a position in even a defensive stock; but I'm not much of a stock picker either. Good thing I stick with the SnP; I don't have to be into FA, TA and I don't have to be a stock picker. Just lucky.

<wonder at how welcome an old-time FA type might be,>

If I recall my time with Jorj and OJ correctly, I don't think the markets come up often enough in discussions to get that far with the conversation.
