Public debt publicdebt.treas.gov It's up since the end of last fiscal year 9/30/99. also how it's distributed: ftp://208.131.225.4:21/opd/opds042000.prn Marketable debt is being shifted to non-marketable debt in SS and other trust funds. Also, growth in non-interest-paying debt, great if you can get away with it (which they can).
