Re: "Has anyone heard of any fallout at Intel due to the rambus and 820 and hub problems? Things like firings and high level shifting that would indicate the rolling of some heads? Are those responsible so high up that they blame others and the others heads are rolling?"

I know that one person who was in charge of the chipset group is now running an Intel site in India but why he's still with the company is a mystery to me. I think some real criticism is due here. At some point they must have presented their RamBus plans to the executive staff and isn't it their job to ask the tuff questions like what happens if this new stuff doesn't work? There was no backup plan. Why? The executive staff must bare the responsibility for not insisting on a backup.
