Favourites and hidden files ...

The tough part is that even if Explorer has been configured to display hidden files, the hidden files in your Favourites folder are still not shown. Another Windows' mystery!

In my Favourites folder, I have one hidden file, DESKTOP.INI, which contains some text used by windows to treat this folder in a special way. The rest are all .URL files, as I'd expect.

If I copy .URL files to this folder, they appear in my Favourites list immediately, again, as I'd expect.

P.S. Excuse my (Canadian) spelling of Favourites. Windows expects Favorites.
