Scumbria, while academic (I do not think that INTC is going to manufacture DRDRAM), it should be very easy for INTC to go back into DRAM, they are already in flash, and my reading is that some DRAM makers are converting DRAM lines to flash as we write, thus a conversion from flash to DRAM or DRDRAM should be as easy. Of course, with the acute shortages in flash, why would INTC want to convert these lines? As a matter of fact, if INTC wanted to get back into memory, all they had to do, in lieu of investing $1 Billion in the existing DRAM makers last year, they could have dedicated that little Billion for such an entry.
