personal preference only... i don't care for the option of having one browser window take up the entire desktop real estate. at any given moment, i might have an average of four (usually more) windows 'cascaded' across the screen. i like seeing various icons for frequently accessed programs, and i also like visible toolbars with quick launch areas. i also want to be able to see the assortment of norton 'doctor' sensors that keep me informed of my pc's basic functions.

when i tried the entire screen adjustment, i felt like i was at the drive-in <g3>.
