Their sanguine attitude will not immediately doom this long-running bull market, but it is disturbing.

Stubborn optimism in the face of significant declines is more indicative of a market top than a bottom.


Very true, Martin Zweig was speaking like the wise man
that he is on Friday night (WSWeeh), when he pointed out
that we should be near a shorterm bottom, especially on
an expanded volume selloff to 2800-2900.

But it could always just be a good trading rally in
a Bear Market.

Hopefully I'll get to do a few 15 year PE ratio charts on
stocks like GE, CSCO, SUNW, XOM etc. and post them
tonight or tomorrow.

We're hear to speak the truth (hopefully) and so an ongoing exploration of the past should not hurt us.
