CrazyAMDman & David Alexander <OT OT> Since it's a slow day, I'll put this on the board.

My father also attended UMKC in the early 70's.

The Plaza is still beautiful, but like all things - has become far too commercialized. Banana Republic, Gap, have taken over. The "stream" has turned into a nice little river down there (I'm sure they killed off most of the wildlife in the process).

I come from three generations of Jayhawks, but decided to leave the prairie for college. You can only take so many cows in your youth. But as my university has little in the way of sports, I'm an honorary Jayhawk - and a very big fan. Next year may very well be Roy's year. I'm putting 50 bucks down for them to win it all.

My family is still in KC - some retired at the Lake of the Ozarks. I think once I have children, we may move out there. Getting back on topic, if AMD reaches $300/share, I'll be able to afford a beautiful home in Mission Hills, $400 gets me the same home & a membership to a country club, $500 gets me all of the above and a nice boat for the garage, $750 gets me all of the above but my boat will be at our vacation home at the Ozarks. $1,000 and I screw the midwest and buy a nice home in Mill Valley (Marin County, SF). Or maybe Santa Barbara.

Dave
