Brush Creek through the Plaza has quite some history. Used to flood something fierce. People regularly drowned in it. The Pendergast's paved it over with 6 feet of concrete in the 30's. Tom Pendergast helped Truman get his start. My Dad's sister fell in Brush Creek many years ago, got pneumonia and died. Now it is a babbling stream through a very upscale community. Missions Hills will take your best shot with AMD to buy anything nice. I sure would like to see a nice bounce here but we need the market to get off the interest rate fears.

Roy could have his shot this year. KU basketball has been the bridesmaid for the 90's and really needs to win the big one. I am now out in New York and will probably try to see the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament in November. KU, Kentucky, UCLA, and St. John's. Should be some great basketball.
Interesting that even with great forward looking earnings we can't get through the 90-93 range. Suggests to me that many are still doubting the story. At 83 and with $5+ in earnings coming up AMD still trades at less than 20 times forward earnings. A bargain for a stock with good earnings visibility.
