Neither you nor Del really understand the political landscape although you are both educated and intelligent people. Nixon was a CFR insider. The whole environmental movement is a CFR initiative. You'll find both republicans AND democrats are FOR the initiatives to help the environment. But the common thread will predominantly be their connection to the CFR and their affiliated organization. The CFR is the hidden political party in Washington. They control government. They have controlled the State Dept. probably since Wilson. They control the bureaucracy. They control congressmen and senators and presidents. Any belief that the 2 party system is real is naive, I'm sorry to say. In fact it doesn't matter who runs for president. They'll be CFR. Bush is as is his dad. George is very big in the CFR. When he accepted the VP nomination from Reagan (who was not CFR) he resigned his powerful position in the CFR. But he didn't drop his ties. He pushed their agenda when he was in office, not the American peoples. The democrat's nominee will be also whether it's Gore ( I had to think to remember his name LOL) or someone else.
