You had it right when you said weeks ago that this(tanking) seems different.
The Feds attempt to quell consumer confidence has also
killed investor confidence. Even a short period of recovery would restore that but I can't see it happening yet.
Meanwhile investors in other countries are being discouraged also which won't help.
Funds that used to hold stocks for a year are now holding them for only 6 mos average. They are all becoming traders.
When we see Dell under accumulation by funds,IMO its a mistake to think they plan to keep it(as they once did),
They just want a well-regarded stock to sell at a profit when it moves back up.
I am neither buying nor selling much, counting most on a market recovery around election time to assist my 2002 leaps on the techs, but out of all I still trust Dell the most.
Until the market has direction, I will just try to trade
a few 100 shares for a daily or weekly profit.
Maybe Jdsu, sdli, plcm, stuff like that
