I gave up writing for magazines and newspapers a long time ago: it is a very poorly paid profession, with much time away from home, most of it in unpleasant places, and occasional real risks. I write for corporations: reports, newsletters, brochures, websites, etc. Much of it is less writing than editing, none of it is attributed, all of it pays a whole lot better than journalism. Back when I still wrote for amusement I occasionally wrote on Philippine history, which interests me, if few others. A few of those are still on the Net. boondocksnet.com boondocksnet.com
