IIJ Ties up with IBM Japan for Data Center Business

TOKYO, May 22 /PRNewswire/ --
Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ) (Nasdaq: IIJI) and IBM Japan, Ltd. (IBM
Japan) have agreed to partner for data center business in Japan, in order to
respond to growing demand for highly reliable e-business solution services.
The partnership allows both companies to use their particular expertise to
develop enhanced data center services in Japan. IIJ brings to the table its
superior data center facilities directly connected to Japan's largest network
infrastructure, and IBM Japan brings its accumulated know-how in large-scale
systems operations for a wide range of industries including finance,
distribution and public service. IBM Japan supports speedy launch of its
customers' e-businesses by offering consulting services and highly reliable
server operations.
