Hello everyone,

I'm a bit new to the options market. Could someone explain to me what LEAPS are? Are they just long term options? I'm particularly interested in where one can trade LEAPS. I'm on Datek, PCFN, and Etrade. None of them seem to have any information on these items.

Is it traded as a stock, or is it a seperate thing altogether, like options trading? Thanks!
