DLJ downgrades HAL....

Be ahead of the curve here folks...

Anyone know what HAL's present earnings are here - vs. the last time it traded at $50 ?

Or the composite earnings for the OSX index here - vs. the last time it traded at 130ish ?

...maybe be worth a gander imho.

Rotate to value - but keep some cash & reduce margin - for both offensive & defensive reasons... buying opps will follow.

NG looks good - but, I'd establish a gameplan here as well - perhaps if margined in NG plays here; I'd take most of the margin profits "off" on any weakness, or into the next 5-7% of upside, then perhaps take another 10% off on each additional 7-10% upside. Any breakouts here ARE profit taking events ala~ Sept 1999.

NG may go to $6, its allways possible, it was speculated to have done so last year as well - but, there is one hell of a lot of drilling going to be done between now and heating season. Taking "some" profits here in the high flyers who are at higher multiples & rotating to smaller players with lower multiples - or into subsectors that are lagging the move like the integrated's who are no where near their former highs and with their dividends; also look's good here.

FLC & PGO look to be the only 2remaining cheap OSX plays here imo... both with 50% upside in any fall rally thru year end. I'd have them atop my buy lists.
