(Nasdaq: QTRN) today announced that they have received notification of the termination of the Hart-Scott-Rodino waiting period for Healtheon/WebMD to acquire Quintiles' electronic data interchange unit, ENVOY Corporation, as announced on Jan. 24, 2000.
As a result of the termination of the waiting period, Healtheon/WebMD and Quintiles intend to close the transaction in the near future.
