Good point Bill,

A lot of people just don't have that long term view. '87, '91, '94, Mar/Apr '97, Asian Meltdown Aug '98
we have seen this in the past. The winners are those that maintain their composure and realize growth over time leads to higher highs and higher lows.

I locked in some profits on NDX puts today. They had more than doubled in three trading sessions. Turned around and put some of it into shares of BRCM. I'm continuing to do some nibbling here and there. My worse case has always visualized the Comp at 2,700-2,900 (not saying we get there). However, the closer we get, the more compelling the case for buying. I also believe it is why the big boys are just sitting. If the small investors are unloading stock, and the selling is on "low" volume then it makes sense to stay on the side lines and let it drift lower.

Yet, if the NAZ is 2,700 to 2,900 they will not be sitting on the fence.

IMHO
