we had 20% money growth leading up to y2k - read that in article somewhere. it was widely known alan was increasing cash availability ahead of y2k. it was also widely reported he would take it out. he didn't. do a little due dilly yourself as i don't get paid like the assoc. press. i'll try to dig up the information again - but, as an investor, you should watch these key metrics.
