That's one of the reasons we decided to start our start-up 'spread out'. We looked at the overhead from have 3 offices in 'lower rent' areas (still good areas mind you, just not the valley), and for the same price as 1 office in the valley we can have 3 spread across the continent, offering much better regional service and STILL have money left over... this includes things like 3x the connectivity costs (1 office vs. 3)... it's just insane. Steve, A biotech just announced that they are moving from the Valley to here (which is not cheap but better than San Fran.)in order to reduce costs. I suspect that is happening more and more. ted
