They're going to do it for the good of the industry
which will be good for the consumer. With 45,000
viruses affecting Window's O/S's around the world, the
computer business is getting a black eye. It's discouraging
people from using the internet for e-commerce with
fears of cyber-terrorists taking over their PC's.

Right now, M$FT is the computer industry's worst enemy
& they need to go south. It's going to take too long
for the gov't to do anything, so why not let the stock
price continue downward, then buy them out??? It'll
get rid of this blight once and for all. Then Gates
can spend all his time where he can do some good, with
his foundation.
