P/E of 50 is not unusual (neither is 33):

You can see the bubble forming in the upward trending "Low" P/E.
30 to 41 to 72 to infinity and beyond!!!!
Don't forget the lessons of 1997 and ratio compression either. Expected 'e' is not a static number, nor is growth rate.
