Stephan, the biggest names in windpower are--Germany : Enercon ($200 million sales in 1995), Tacke ($150 million), Lagerway, Nordtank. In Danemark: Vesta, Micon, and others. Also Dutch companies. Here in the US Zond is rapidly expanding from its California base into Texas, Vermont, Minnesota, and Wyoming.
Tacke has two web pages: one in Germany and the other from their Canandian factory. There are also about 20 other web pages on wind power. I will get the specifics for you.
If you can make it the national wind power trade show is in Denver starting Sunday, June 23. It runs through Thursday. The sponsor is the American Wind Energy Association. They have a web page.
I'm keen on water treatment too. Read in Investor's Business Daily about a Canadian company that uses UV light instead of chlorine to treat water.
Kent.
