Hey man, are you a preacher? :o) You sure come out loud and clear. Anyway, I was walking the other day and the thought hit my mind that my wretchedness is a lot worse than I used to think. I guess that's progress :o)
Seriously, the recognition as time progresses, that God really saved me from a lot and then some is quite amazing of His grace. How can we not forgive? So what if someone purposely did you harm. I have purposely sinned after having my eyes opened: Unfortunately, more times than I care to remember. Not an excuse mind you, but the realization that any and all good that I do is based on His grace. I can not but do wrong if left to myself. He keeps forgiving. Can I do any less?
What stops an individual from forgiving: Pride! And you know the correlation between pride and destruction, and a haughty spirit and a fall. It's all there, written for us to see.
To those who are reading this thread, perhaps getting burned really bad in this market downtrend. Yes, Jesus will give you freedom, financial and otherwise, but you have to make Him Lord and Savior first: Not one without the other. As someone once mentioned, I'm not brainwashed. I'm having my brain washed! Some reading this thread need a real cleansing. Jesus is the one to do it. You'll know if it's real because you will have a peace and a serenity that no one can take from you, regardless of your present circumstances. And that my friends IS FREEDOM. Material gain is secondary.
