Ya gotta love this guy:
Plaintiff begged: "Please Oh God! Don't take the child!"
So for this level of duress he is seeking roughly $1 million for each second he was confronted by the INS as compensation. Yeah right Donato.
As a proximate result of the raid, Plaintiff has suffered substantial damages, including physical injuries resulting from the use of pepper spray during the raid, fear for his life and liberty, pain, suffering, sleeplessness, emotional distress, and loss of reputation, among others damages.
If they find for this guy, I would love to be a fly on the wall to see how they arrive at placing value on something he has so thoroughly tarnished by his own headlong efforts to keep ahold of any chance to make money off of the back of this boy.
. . . a raid conducted in such a manner as to impose substantial and complete restrictions on Plaintiff's liberty of movement and otherwise resulted in Plaintiff being restrained by use of physical force and show of authority, . . .
Ohhh, I just know how traumatizing those shows of authority can be. He is sure to be scarred for life. Do you suppose there is another paragraph missing in the background part of the case?
Like maybe Plaintiff begged: "Please Oh God! Don't subject me to a show of authority!"
If I get audiited by the IRS, that's exactly what I will do. I will stand up and yell "Oh my God. You can't make me pay! Your show of authority has traumatized me. I want $100 million." |
