from todays news Nielsen NetRatings recently ranked Silicon Investor the "Stickiest Site on the Web," as investors use the site to post and read messages, build portfolios, and read news and commentary. I imagine the bell curve on this was shifted upward significantly by a few folks who were doing something perhaps a little different then suggested above....who might those people be???????? I am not so certain I agree with the portal made simple theme.....the problem is to keep it simple means some things are buried and others are simply left out compleltely, like "web hosting". The expert site "askme.com" is not listed anywhere on the homepage. You have to go to search and then even there it doesn't have a direct homepage listing but rather a link to an example site.......I think the theory is sort of like lets give them some foreplay and a chance to discover stuff but being a man I don't think I agree with this approach. Who is designing this site anyway.......is it a she or a he?
