Some of this is good, some of it bad. Hacking into a stranger's computer for criminal purposes is a modern day analog to breaking and entering. Not only can such hackers "take over" your computer for purposes of malicious mischief, but they can steal or delete your business files, or abscond with your personal information for the purpose of credit card fraud, bank fraud, or identity theft. The article does not explain this.

I am not in full agreement with the other things, but I do agree that something has to be done about computer crime, as much damage can be done to personal and property interests by sophisticated hackers.
