And the noose continues to tighten. Like the anti-drug laws, a problem is recognized, and that becomes an excuse to not only restrict everybody (not just wrongdoers), but to use that problem as justification to give immense powers to "investigators" from the government. The same logic (or lack thereof) is being used on a number of fronts, notibly with gun laws now. This is scary stuff; not because it makes it easier to investigate crimes, but because it makes it easier to investigate even non-crimes. jim
