If this case doesn't get thrown out, I will lose what remains of my faith in the legal system.
I KNEW that guy was a jerk from the beginning.
They fail to mention how much he LOVED all the things he is now claiming as damages. In fact, it is now as he begins his inevitable slide back into obscurity that he desperately tries to find another spotlight. UNlike Elian or the even The Relatives, he made a decision to thrust himself into the situation. He could have faded back into whatever he called a life following the rescue, as his cousin did- (of course, he had no life, which was the problem) but, oh no, he wanted the notoriety about which he now whines. Only now he is whining about it as it fades, in the hopes of prolonging it.
He is one dysfunctional person. And a slimy one at that. Does anyone still cheer when he walks by? Do they still want him as mayor?
