Frankly, there is nothing but good news in this sector. With the shortages and margins available to manufacturers in both flash and dram, and Intel's and other's comments on how poorly they estimated demand earlier this year, I have to believe we will continue to see a sensible, thoughtful expansion in fabs for quite some time to come. This is not the boom or bust cycle of the past, IMHO, but a more reasoned reaction to staggering demand for all those new "gadgets" like phones, cameras, appliances, etc.

The fact that the market will not yet reward a company like AMAT for this trend just shows how ugly this market is right now. Well, this too will pass. Sold some Sept. 75 puts and plan to have them expire worthless.
