Saw a bit of bloomberg early this morning. This major trader
from one of the houses dealing in nasd said that if the 3000
barrier gets broken, he fears all hell breaks loose. I'm
not sure that an index number means that much to the IRA and 401k holders. A 10-15% daily drop on the close would
convince the final holdouts to reallocate to bonds or mm's.
Once that happens, the btd crowd will go into hibernation
till interest rates reverse course.
