Hello Frank. I came on for one post but then saw your message before going off. I decided to take the time out and read your post quick even though I HAVE to get off here now.

I am with you. Those FEDs are doing us in. A very unclear picture of the future for all of us at this time. Or maybe too clear. I guess they are trying to make us poorer so we end up all in the same boat. <G>.

BTW. 3 FED members appointed by Clinton supposedly out voted Greenspan and gave us a 50 basis point rate hike. So, it's not just Greenspan. Some of those hawks at the FED are worse than Greenspan. I understand that those same FEDs wanted to raise the rates the time before by 50 basis points.

On the other hand, it could just be those talking heads all over the papers and on TV today that drove this market down today. Maybe some funds and the houses are reducing their exposure to techs. The bond market looked pretty good yesterday and it looked like we may not get a hike at the next meeting. It still may not happen but then the talk is maybe in August and that's it for this year. I have to study later this evening what brought all this stuff on. Not a good sign that the NAZ ended at a new low for the year.

Sonny
