Sun should be worried. How about profiles of leading Dot.Coms already on W2K like Barnes and Noble, Buy.com, Nasdaq, etc. microsoft.com

How about a Netcraft survey that showed that 45 percent of all e-commerce sites using secure sockets layer (SSL) are Windows-based, exceeding competitive offerings such as Linux and Sun Solaris, which had 16 percent and 14 percent, respectively. Additional data from Netcraft also showed that 39 percent of Fortune 500 companies have chosen the Windows server platform for their Internet requirements compared with 37 percent for Sun and 2 percent for Linux. Netcraft's survey also noted that the Windows server platform leads in customer satisfaction, with a 70 percent retention rate, the highest of any operating system. microsoft.com

Or that a majority of the top 100 Media Metrix shopping sites run on the Microsoft Platform (Netcraft, November 1999) <http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/1999/Dec99/ECommPR.asp>

And btw, you can configure a secure legacy Windows desktop for Internet access by choosing specific configuration options for IE and Outlook.
