John, thanks for the update... i'm still surprised that the banks and brokers are so well bid. aren't they all speculators, and the ultimate risk takers in rate hedges etc? i strongly suspect that at some point counter-party risk in derivatives will become an issue once more. this intricate vast VaR modelled web of interlocking positions is just asking for it... regards, hb
