During the quarter, the company spent $212 million to repurchase 6.9 million shares of Novell common stock. Over the last three fiscal quarters, the company spent a total of $500 million to purchase and retire approximately 20 million shares of common stock.

I think that we deserve an explanation on how do they end up paying these prices! They have paid an average price of 25 dollars a share to buy 20 million shares! Now this is our money!!!

During the quarter they bought 6.9 million shares @ 210 million that is more than 30 dollars a share!!!

I am not sure how they actually managed to do this. Do they buy the shares directly from the managers???????????????????

I THINK WE DESERVE AN EXPLANATION!
