Chung re <<I am shocked by the PC data, I have been under the impression that AMD is showing up everywhere, I have read from posts here that more and more visible SKUs in retail channels and alot more in screwdriver shops, I did a casual survey at Best Buy, Circuit City and found thread posters were correct. What gives?>>

Well, the numbers were for April. It stated the Athlon market share at 5%. I imagine it is higher than that now. Keep in mind that AMD should not increase unit shipment at all since Athlon sucks up more capacity than K6's. Intel is increasing unit shipment since more and more of its fab are being converted.

I hope Elmer endorsement of AMD is not a signal for a short term top :)
