What ? is there anything here "on topic" ? he he he he
Does anyone else here think that it's time for Alan Greenspan to go ?
This a$$ killed the goose and ran off with the eggs. Since his stupid "Exhuberance" speech everyone is depressed.
Now you are getting emotional...
Just relax, wait until Argentina can't hold the Peso/Dollar parity, [The IMF be damned, they've missed their debt targets since 1995 anyway]. The peso can not be devalued unless the legislature approves so by a 2/3 majority.
Life here is so expensive and salaries are simply not even close to keeping up with the cost of living, I think it is creating a very difficult situation, and AG certainly is not going to make it easier with the rate increases.
The stronger the US Dollar gets by interest rates continuing to go up, automatically makes the peso equally strong. Except, they do not have high tech industry, nor bio-genetics industry, nor anything to speak of large export industries (Beef and wine, maybe).
If Argentina goes, then we'll have others. The Euro also comes to mind.
Is it politically motivated ?... well, I do not know... I think AG has become the de facto central banker to the world
Now you want to hear emotions ? passion ?
...here is guy that really wants to say something to AG....
