MILLENNIUM DISCOVERY DRILL UPDATE #5 COPPER/GOLD PROJECT CHILE
CHILE:
A. The drilling contractor, Major Chile S.A., has now completed the 4,000 metres of NQ diamond drilling contracted for in January 2000. During this program 15 holes totaling 4,138 metres of drilling were completed averaging approximately 275 metres per hole. A total of 6 holes totaling 1,746 metres were completed on the primary target, Mt. Tacho. With respect to the primary target, Mt. Tacho, geological staff should complete logging and sampling of the core of the sixth hole by the end of this week and all of the assays from Mt. Tacho should be received by the middle of June 2000. After the assays are received and released by way of a news release a technical geological report will be prepared by an independent consulting geologist with the view to planning of future developments of the Coiron Project.
B. A total of 9 holes totaling 2,392 metres were completed on the secondary target, Cerro Carmen/Cerro Macote (see news releases dated May 5, 2000 and May 19, 2000). Rock Resources geological team has determined that a copper porphyry system is present on the secondary target.
C. Further to the news release of April 26, 2000, three major international mining companies toured the Coiron property between May 8th & May 19th, 2000 and conducted detailed examinations of the project.
