P J -- Yes,, that is understood but most do not take a company from 9 to 43 only to bring it down to that level again,, granted they had some help from general mkt conditions, but they gave big reason for the mkt to punish them more than most.
Not crying and no sour grapes. A mistake buying this and have made mistakes before,, I admit them,, others do not or are extreme optomists that are to be admired as they have more patience with mkt moves and inept mgmt than I.
I am not bashing anyones post,,, that comment makes me wonder if you are not a bit more concerned about the price level than I am.
They already HAVE the products and will have more,, again it is not a product issues it is a business issue.
I too hope it will work,, only as I am hoping to cut my losses not that I believe it will double in a year as other companies may when the mkt turns. It is a very loud wake up call... but I thought they made the big bux to remain awake at the helm and prevent things like this from happening.
BTW-- your MSFT point is very true. They were also punished but for doing business too well. I bailed all but a little when the bull-headedness of Klein, the states, & Gates/Ballemer was evident.
The is no rideculing of the enthusiasum or optomism of others,, esp Paul. Paul knows more about the workings of novl than I want to and that is respected. I am VERY familiar with the products as they are installed on my systems. There are no problems with those areas-- the problems lie with mgmts inability to forsee the needs to have kept this a viable company.
To answer the same question as you "Do I believe in the management team -" only my answer is No and for the same reason you believe the opposite-- "Because they've been here before and they know what to do." Having been here before one would think they would have things in place not to return,, are they able to do it again,, possibly so but the big question is will they have to do it another time...
