Fiondella.....
Head in the sand - ignoring my posts - seems like you're a confirmed apoligist of the current dysfunction. There's a big difference in supporting the person, but NOT the dysfunction. I'm not being personal against you or Novell.
You don't "get down" on people for this does nothing but encourage position building instead of collaboration and cooperation.
Novell needs more ENERGY, excitement, PASSION, teamwork, freedom, light, etc.
When individuals like me stand on chairs, what people don't realize is that I'm NOT making these comments personal, but what I am serious about the level and flow of ONE thing....ENERGY.
>>Novell is ahead of many companies in the infrastructure technology for net services and internet operating systems --- the in the flow technology.>>
SO WHAT!!!????
This doesn't mean ANYTHING if there's NO PASSION and ENERGY!!!
>>One of Novell's most profitable areas, consulting, which Eric indicated is a required service to get these net services in place in the enterprise, was understaffed.>>
Good, where's the example of the progress?
>> But since they have partnered with integrators and trained them they are now in a position to hand off some of that integration to get more adoption.>>
Big difference between "handing off some" and taking responsibility for ALL. Who's on first??
>>Prospects are better for Novell not worse than they were before.>>
If you were any more excited Paul, I'd have to check my blood pressure to make sure I was still alive reading this.
>>You guys just don't watch New York Knicks games. If you did you would understand what I'm talking about. Everyone always wonders how can an old man like Ewing pull it off without anotehr injury. Then there is Spreewell the lose cannon who once whacked a coach that didn't give him his New York respect. The erratic rebounding and sub par shooting. And yet the Knicks beat the Heat with teamwork and a deep deep reservoir of experience in the game.>>
Comparing Novell to the Knicks?? Please!
>>Novell has very very deep wells of technology in networking. Not a single company out there can come close.>>
Very deep dark wells. So deep and so dark that management can't find the water they need to survive which has contibuted to this nasty 2-3 year habit of destroying 75% of Novell's market cap and a TON of trust on Wall Street.
(DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN LIED TO AND BETRAYED. NOVELL WAS GUTLESS IN THEIR HANDLING OF THIS RECENT NEWS. SENIOR MGMT IS SCRAMBLING TO HIDE BEHIND NEW CURTAINS.)
>>The new structure is going to give the company an edge it hasn't previously had.>>
New structure?
Are you serious?
An edge?
Come on Paul, let's let Novell come to the table and "show Wall Street the money." Wall Street has "been there, done that...." and they aren't buying.
Now's the time to blow the doors down on conventional thought for what the crowd thinks about Novell. Novell is priced at $9 and change because the crowd overeacted for good reason. I have yet to "see" and "feel" and true leadership come out and shine in the aftermath of this debacle.
They "sucked" Scott Lemon into silence.
Are you next Paul?
Who's next.
But I'm happy and loving this reality.
It's great to see such confusion. This is when BIG opportunities knock.
ENERGY.
EXCITEMENT.
PASSION.
ENTHUSIASM.
Peace.
