I clicked over to circuitcity.com site, it lists 16 desktop PCs, I don't know if thier physical store carry the same line now (1) Compaq 1 ghz Athlon $2499 (2) Compaq 900 Mhz Athlon $1999 (3) HP 800 Mhz Athlon $1899 (4) HP P3-650 Mhz $1499 (5) HP P3-600 Mhz $1399 (6) HP P3-600 Mhz $1249 (7) HP P3-600 Mhz $1199 (8) HP Celeron 533 $1049 (9) Compaq K6-2 533 $899 (10) Compaq celeron 500 $799 (11) Compaq K6-2 533 $799 I think AMD is represented quite well here, where are the Athlon 650,700,750? I am sure they could be quite competitive with the P3s, maybe Compaq and HP wanted to sell them direct thru their websites with these popular Mhz systems. (found Presario 7940 with Athlon 600 compared quite favarably with the HP P3).
