LLCF really applies when the locks are on, i.e the Globex 2 session prior to opening the market, not the speed bumps during normal trading. When they kick on trading stops unless there is a trade above the limit and the open may be way below where Globex went out. I dream of it locking out at 30 or what ever it is this quarter and Spoos wanting to open down 500. -g- A LockLimit is damn infrequent; we have never seen a LLCF. -ng-

I don't think the 100 trading below 3000 is as big a deal as the comp doing it. That will really catch people's attention. And Tokyo seems intent on closing green, we are 300 points off the low. So I'm not as excited about something bad happening here in the morning. But I wouldn't be real happy tonight if I were long. -g-
