there are several valid reasons for that increase in PE. here are a couple:

As for 1), looks like demand is falling fast. As for 2), yeah I agree that on 2/29 there were a lot of new startups (the dot coms) that were all p and no e.

As for new paradigm, while not arguing with the validity of that perspective, I suspect that until the Fed stops tightening, it will have little value in the price of stocks.

Now if I were prone to conspiracy theories, I might think that Q's recent price fall was engineered by those wishing to "load up" before the China news becomes too positive (House votes on Wed.). But we "know" the SEC would never allow that to happen.

Also it'll be interesting to see what Greenie has to say on Thursday given what's happened to the Naz and his own '87 history. And then there's this
