What's with this thread and "credibility". You people are MSFT shareholders for crying out loud! Lack of "Credibility" hasn't bothered you in the past... - mozek, surely you've heard of file permissions and symbolic links. I know in the case of the latter, MS has recently 'innovated' sym links 13 years after Unix. By Unix's very multiuser nature it's more secure (architecturally). It doesn't have the same local user context which hobbles Windows on the network. Another reason Unix is greatly more secure than NT is maturity. Unix has fewer holes because it's so damn old. Finally the Windows integrate everything model kinda presents all sorts of fun exploits. Web browser (with integrated active-x etc) itself integrated into the OS?? -JCJ
