Speaking of speeches...
There is no question that those of us with the nerves of steel who have hung on (go stick it vegasman) will have plenty to be proud of in the coming years. While some may have made some good moves and bailed out with their wallets still attached, this is not about ballet. This is war my friends. Those of you who know me are familiar with my father's WWII record and the effect it has had on shaping who I am...as other fathers who survived WWII had on their sons. Many of you here. So you will know that having heard the worst from our fathers who went to hell and back this current challenge with our investments means nothing. NOTHING. We got into this fight to win. And win we will. As my father always told me when I was feeling sorry for myself...
"Get off the God damn ground, dust yourself off, stand up and spit in the devil's eye."
We are near the end of this mania...a mirror of what happened in December. Told you so primadonnas or losing sleep over what you had isn't worth a bucket of warm spit. Get over it and get ready to participate in a breath taking rally over the next year. Irwin Jacobs and CDMA will do what needs to be done.
In closing, I shall defer to another one of my heroes. Replace the appropriate sections below with our QCOM experience the past month. George couldn't say it any better.
Now, be seated...
"There is one great thing that you men will all be able to say after this war is over and you are home once again. You may be thankful that twenty years from now when you are sitting by the fireplace with your grandson on your knee and he asks you what you did in the great World War II, you WON'T have to cough, shift him to the other knee and say, "Well, your Granddaddy shoveled shit in Louisiana." No, Sir, you can look him straight in the eye and say, "Son, your Granddaddy rode with the Great Third Army and a Son-of-a-Goddamned-Bitch named Georgie Patton!"
And for visual clarification as to where I stand, view the website below.
Dismissed!
