The debate on Abercombie and Fitch:

The good side:

messages.yahoo.com

The bad side:

"...clothes are rapidly losing favour, consumer spending is going to dry up and companies like kohls are going to eat their lunch, because the look is not new never was...and tume in retail comes in cycles and this cycle is over. "

From an ANF Yahoo post by justinr4

Another negative Yahoo post:

<"long term this is now a screaming buy."

<I've seen many stocks labeled a "screaming buy" but I have <never seen one identified as a "screaming sell."

<What are the characteristics of a stock that you would consider a "screaming sell"?

<A stock with a year-long downtrend still underway, making <new lows on a regular basis and still declining? In the <retail industry, a small specialty clothing store chain <that a year ago was really popular with teens but is losing <its cachet? The stock of a company with an untrustworthy <and mendacious CEO? A company whose SSS are declining and <whose growth rate is declining?

<Hmmm...sounds familiar, nicht wahr?
