Heeren: Just read your post on the G&K relating to Oracle (fascinating in itself) and saw that you post here. So, having been an early Citrix (thin client) fan along with Mike Buckley some years ago I have just gone through the last 200 or so posts on this thread.

Thanks for all the contributions you have made in that context to my understanding of Citrix as of now.

Since my main concentration is on wireless and fiberoptics I was particularly taken with this statement of yours:

"I beleive Citrix will need to find better areas to focus on. The company has been very good at doing this to date and I think they have already started laying the foundation for another switch. That is why I am looking at what they
are doing in the wireless and embedded spaces. The technology is a good fit in that space and there are limitations that will make existing web-based approaches non ideal for building applications."

Since I follow Qualcomm and PSION as best I can, I was particularly taken with your point that Citrix's working with PSION is of considerable importance. I agree since I see PSION as the most likely winner in the web browser sweepstakes (but far from a slam dunk of course).

Could you expand a bit on your understanding of that relationship please and its future potential?

(My original worry about Citrix was its vulnerability to MSFT negative moves against it. So I have watched with great interest Citrix's moves to broaden. Completely agree that Citrix needs to be agnostic squared in the areas and technologies that Citrix works with. Pleased to see the management moves in that direction you and others have cited recently.)

Best.

Chaz a.k.a. Cha2 (on the G&K)

BTW Thanks for your recent contributions on the G&K. (Your substantive contributions are a major positive there IMO - speaking for myself only of course. :-))

Note: Just read your two most recent posts on the G&K as well. Please keep up the good work !
