Anthony@Pacific's Handling Of Donations For Charities... I really would like to see this issue put to rest - if Tony did nothing wrong, let him get on with his life. If he was helping a charity he does not deserve to be painted as a criminal as some post suggest. As I recall, Tony solicited for donations on his SI thread and I believe his site. It was my understanding the money was donated by people who were told the money would be given to a Kosovo charity and Tony would match any donated funds. I think everyone would like to get this issue cleared up once and for all. If Tony can just answer these questions maybe this issue can be put to rest... 1. How much money did people donate and can Tony provide bank documents showing exactly how that money was donated. I'm sure nobody would collect thousands of dollars for a charity and then not keep a paper trail. 2. If Tony could provide bank records showing that he matched the amount donated - as he claimed he would, that would put that issue to rest also. 3. Where specifically did the money go - what was it spent on? I'm sure there is a paper trail showing exactly how this money was spent. Lets get this information out and put the rumors to rest. 4. If a charity was given some money as I noticed some posts suggest, (Mother Teresa Charity?), this charity must have a deposit record from their bank on the date Tony gave them the money. Lets get a copy of the bank deposit from the Mother Teresa charity. I would like to see this issue cleared up as rumors suggesting miss-use of donations raised for a charity could be very damaging to a person - particularly if they were really doing a good deed. I noticed some posts suggesting the FBI was involved somehow to investigate this matter - does anyone know if this is true and if we can get their conclusion? That might put this issue to rest quickly. The issue of Tony returning the donated money just seems to cloud the issue in my opinion - not help clear it up. If the FBI really is investigating the matter and Tony suddenly returns donations to people - some might say it makes him look suspicious while others might say it makes him look honorable.
