Investing 101: Stop Losses
I realized after writing my post on targets and overvaluation that there is an acceptable way of using "stop losses"

I have friends that put in stop losses as soon as they buy a stock. I'm not comfortable with that because you may get called out of your stock before you get a chance to monitor how its performance will proceed.
But when a stock has done very well and exceeded your expectations (GMST): that might be the time to begin to put in stop losses: perhaps at 8 or 10% below the price when you first realize it is retreating from its lofty (better than you expected) price.
