Dear monu:
I learned a long time ago that when you start taking your eyes off of our Lord and savoir, and start worrying about the walk of others and not your own then that is a sure recipe to stumble.
I had a mentor in my Christian walk. This man is so knowledgeable in God's word, was so faithful in witnessing, church responsibilities. But now he is living in sin. If you asked me I would say that surely God is in no way condemning or judging this man. But there is that bible verse that says "for this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man , who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Eph 5:5"
After doing some research the Ephesians were addicted to luxury, effeminacy, sexual vice. Demosthenes even said of them. "We have whores for our pleasure, harlots for our daily use, and wives for procreation of legitimate children, and faithful preservation of our property."
Whoremonger is literally a male prostitute, unclean persons were homosexual perverts. Covetousness, is strictly forbidden, as a sin that will damn the soul.
So my conclusion is that God is not talking about the one time sin that is forgiven but the deeper life style sin that forgets boundaries, and totally corrupts.....My friend is not like this but I'm not going to waste my time giving him thought for endless hours about his salvation. No sir. I'm going to keep my own walk in my mind thinking about my own salvation. If the Lord asks me to go talk with him I will but only as the Lord leads.
